Ministries of the Church
Power Hour - on Wednesdays at 7 PM at the Church.
Nursery Ministries:
Our nursery facilities are located in two rooms downstairs in the Church. The room can be divided to help separate infants and toddlers. Our staff is well trained and works on a rotating basis in the nursery. At this time, nursery services are only provided for the main Church service at 10:30 on Sunday morning.
Children's Ministries:
We have three classes: Beginner, Primary and Juniors. Our classes participated in several ministry activities this year: the bell choir traveled to the Personal Care Home in Towanda; gifts were distributed through Operation Christmas Child; the Yearly Scripture Memorization Challenge; Vacation Bible School and a Missionary Offering.
Youth Ministries:
CAC Youth Group (7-12th grades) meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Church for worship, instruction, fellowship, outreach and ministry/service. Additional activities have included events such as: a 30 Hour Famine, youth-led Good Friday Services, Valentine's Dinners, ringing Salvation Army bells at the mall, Creation Festival, Scripture Memorization Challenge and more.
Junior and Senior High kids also meet weekly as a group for Sunday School at 9:30 AM.
Adult Ministries:
The Adult Sunday School meets on a weekly basis at 9:30 AM. Activities include: Yearly Scripture Memorization challenge.
Adult Bible Study: 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 pm (babysitting not provided).
Women's Group - Tuesday evening group meets on a weekly basis - 6:30 for coffee, 7 pm study (1st Tuesday is the Alliance Women's meeting)
Men's Group - first and third Mondays, 7 PM at the Church
Other Ministries:
Occasional guest speakers; occasional visiting music ministries; Annual Missions Conference; Christmas Eve service; Good Friday Service; Easter Sunrise Service; Mt. Pisgah service by the lake. .
